Where I'm From

I'm from hangin' with friends,
where laughs don't stop and nights never end.
With the bass bumping and seeing the sun come up.
I'm from no stress with the best kept secret,
where no one can see it, but people can feel it.
I'm from going to the movies every weekend,
just to see something new.
Doesn't matter what movie it is,
I just know it'll be getting my view.
I'm from daily chillin' in The Lab,
where the feel it brings is the opposite of sad.
Seeing the nice view, of the neighbors backyard,
with a garden and all, we love watching the rain fall.
I'm from going downtown Grand Haven,
and running red lights in the dead of the night.
Traveling to Taco Bell cause I'm on a fourthmeal diet
and always getting an ice cold Baja on the side.
I'm from having a weird background,
but not willing to care what people think.
I'm from having a city boy life style,
to having to live in the sticks.
But this is my life, and no one can change it.
